Hi! The names Bond... James Bond... Just kidding, it's really Charlie, and I'm a Film & TV student at Northumbria University based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My love for film has been an ever-present factor throughout my life, from watching Steven Spielberg's 'Jaws' with my Mum and vowing never to step foot in the sea again, to watching George Lucas's Star Wars with my Dad and wondering if there really was another civilisation far, far away... Film and TV can make people feel all sorts of emotions and wonder about many different things, and that's why it's so beautiful!

Although I only began learning and developing my skills as a film practitioner when I came to University 3 years ago, I have immersed myself in editing and drone operation. While also trying and experimenting with 'traditional' cinematography, directing and sound engineering, I really found my passion for editing and later drone operation. In my 2nd year of university, we were tasked with creating an editorial collage of internet clips to create a video with new meaning. This was my first proper solo attempt at creating something purely through editing, and from then on, the passion developed. While relatively new to drone operation, I have managed to overcome the learning curve and have really developed a 'knack' with aerial cinematography. Utilising its resources in several projects since picking up the skill last year.

This Website aims to showcase the work I have been working on throughout my young career. Having a collection of past, present and future projects for you to view and learn more about, alongside a gallery dedicated to my drone cinematography that I hope to develop further.
